Meet the attorney

Lisa Miller founded the Law Office of Lisa S. Miller in 2011.  Lisa's practice focuses on providing quality legal services to corporate clients on transactional matters and general corporate maintenance including entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, corporate and non-profit governance, and contract negotiations.  

Lisa started her career with Jackson Walker L.L.P. where she practiced in the Corporate & Securities and Health Care Sections.  While she was with Jackson Walker, Lisa represented clients in a broad range of matters, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and financing along a broad spectrum of industries including health care, oil and gas, banking, and family offices.

Lisa built a strong legal foundation while at Jackson Walker, but ultimately decided the lifestyle offered by a big firm was not the right fit.  She founded the Law Office of Lisa S. Miller and has enjoyed the entrepreneurial aspect of being a lawyer and a business owner and the close client relationships she has been able to build along with her practice. It has been a privilege to walk alongside business leaders and entrepreneurs as a partner in their goals. 

Lisa received her B.S. from Texas Christian University, Magna Cum Laude, and her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, with honors.  She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Lisa is an active volunteer in the community and enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. You’ll catch her in the Texas hill country any time she can get away.
